Indianapolis Boat Company, Inc. was founded by William F. Steck Sr. in May 1953 and originally located at 49th and Winthrop Avenue in Indianapolis, where it remained for almost 20 years.
In 1972, we opened a new store at I-69 and 116th Street in Fishers, Indiana where we experienced tremendous growth that resulted in the expansion of products and services offered.
Due to the widening of 116th Street and future changes in the construction of I-69, we relocated in February 2001 to our current location at 42nd and Shadeland in Indianapolis. We have a beautiful new facility and encourage you to stop by for a look at our store and wide selection of new and pre-owned boats.
